About

My artwork is inspired by movement, nature, and the ongoing search for meaning and purpose. Born in
Jūrmala, Latvia, raised in Astrakhan, Russia, and later in Chicago, Illinois, I’ve lived a nomadic life that has
shaped both my identity and creative voice.
In my early twenties, I moved to Breckenridge, Colorado, where I developed a profound connection to
snowboarding and the outdoors. The mountains became both sanctuary and muse—igniting a creative spark
that led me to explore art as a form of self-expression. After a series of injuries, art and yoga became essential
pathways for healing and introspection.
During this time, I met my husband Tom, a fellow creative and snowboard builder. Together, we’ve built a life
centered around nature, creativity, and exploration—drawing endless inspiration from the places we’ve called
home, including Maui and now Southwest Colorado.
My work is a reflection of that journey: a blend of movement, emotion, and a deep reverence for the natural
world. Whether in the studio or on the mountain, I create with the intention to connect—both to myself and to
others—through color, line work, and story.
