Collection: Mountain Art

The concept emerged from the creation of a logo for my husband’s bindingless snowboard company, Maneuver Noboards. Inspired by a decade of adventures in the Rocky Mountains, I began exploring mountain line art. Tom suggested integrating a maze into the design, symbolizing the passage of time, the diverse paths through nature, and the cyclical rhythms of life.

After refining the idea, I created Red Moon, a piece that felt like the start of something much larger. Together, we envisioned each board featuring a unique, one-of-a-kind design. Motivated to explore the concept further, I began experimenting with liquid acrylics, using them as watercolors. The interplay of color and negative space allowed distinct peaks to emerge, each one echoing an experience in the mountains. The process became spontaneous and playful, reflecting the expansive, ever-changing landscape of our journey through life.
